Medellín, Colombia
Medellin: the city of eternal spring, wild energy, unbeatable cost of living, an exploding nomad hub.
Medellin lives up to its nickname as the city of eternal spring: perched at 1,500 meters in the Andes, it offers 22 to 25 degrees all year. In a few years it has become one of Latin America's biggest nomad hubs, with El Poblado and Laureles packed with cafes and founders. An excellent meal for 5 or 6 euros: purchasing power that changes everything for a bootstrapper.
The longest runway in the program
Medellin is our most affordable destination, by far. Your monthly budget goes two to three times further than in Europe: ideal for a bootstrapper who wants to live well while preserving cash. Villa polish, private chef and outings included, you spend a fraction of what an equivalent month would cost elsewhere.
A base for Latin America
Time zone aligned with the US, natural Spanish immersion, and direct access to a Latin market of hundreds of millions of consumers. For a founder who wants to test or grow a product in the region, there is no better base camp.
Energy and adrenaline
Paragliding over the valley 30 minutes away, the Comuna 13 cable car now a symbol of rebirth, farm coffee two hours out, a weekend in Guatape with its giant rock. Medellin is intense, alive, and its founder scene overflows with energy: perfect to recharge after a big sprint week.
