Sapa, Vietnam
Sapa: one heads-down month, between rice terraces and mountain mist.
Perched above 1,500 meters in northern Vietnam, Sapa is the opposite of a city full of distractions. Crisp cool air year round, valley silence, and a surprisingly solid fiber connection in the villa: this is where you actually build. Less party, more progress. One month to move the needle on what matters, alongside seven other equally focused founders.
The deep-work laboratory
Sapa is remote, and that is exactly the point. No endless brunches or rooftop scenes: the mountain rhythm locks your brain into focus mode. The cool climate (12 to 20 degrees) keeps your mind sharp where tropical heat lulls you to sleep. Private coworking in the villa, screens, endless coffee, and fiber tested before every cohort: you ship without excuses.
The cost of living is among the lowest in Asia: a local meal costs a few euros, and so does a massage after a coding session. Your budget breathes while your focus stays intact. Everything is included in the villa.
Step off the screen, walk into the clouds
When you close the laptop, the Muong Hoa rice terraces are waiting: some of the most spectacular trekking in Southeast Asia, Hmong and Dao villages, and Mount Fansipan (the highest peak in Indochina) a cable car away. Walking these valleys is the best mental reset between two build sprints.
One cohort, eight founders, zero noise
Up to eight selected founders share the villa: private room, private chef, shared workspaces. In the evening you rebuild the world around a fire and mountain tea rather than in a club. The bonds formed here, in quiet and shared effort, last well beyond the month spent together.
